What is this and why are we doing it?
About the Mortgage Meltdown for Ministry
The Mortgage Meltdown for Ministry aims to relieve our congregation of this financial burden, and pave the way for greater ministry opportunities in our congregation and outreach beyond our walls.
Goal: Starting April 21, we are working toward raising donations to go directly toward our remaining mortgage balance of $350,000 by November 24.
We are asking that giving toward the Meltdown is in addition to your current general giving.
How can my leap of faith help with Ministry at Resurrection? If we are able to pay off the mortgage we would have an extra $6000 per month to help support current and future ministries. To give you an idea of what your Meltdown contribution could mean for us, here are various costs we have in our ministries:
$25 – 1 scholarship for a men’s or women’s retreat
$50 – Greif Share materials for 4 participants
$100 – Cost for 1 person to become a full partner of Resurrection
$500 – 1 year of Family Fun Events
$1,000 – 1 year of Family Feast community meals
$1,500 – 1 year of 2nd grade Bibles
$5,000 – District Blitz Youth Conference tickets for 20 students
$6,500 – 1 year of devotional
$7,500 – 1 year of SHARE Food
$20,000 – 1 FULL year of children’s programming
$50,000 – 1 FULL year of youth programming
You may have heard the term $30 for 30 regarding the Mortgage Meltdown. The entirety of the Meltdown spans 30 weeks, and if one were to commit to giving $30 a week, the final total after November 24 would be $900! $30 for 30 is our example of what a commitment to Meltdown giving can look like. However, we encourage you to pray and ask how much God is calling you to give. Every dollar helps!

WAYS TO GIVE
Give a one-time gift or set-up a recurring gift directly through your bank account or using a credit/debit card. Click the link below, select your gift amount, and choose how often you’d like to give.

Our church has secure Giving Kiosks located in the Worship Center and Gathering Place where cash and check gifts can be dropped. These kiosks also have a secure card reader if you prefer to use a credit/debit card in person.

Resurrection also accepts gifts from stocks and mutual funds along with Donor Advised Funds, IRA Gifts, and more. Please contact our church office if interested.
FAQ
Please allow 1-2 days for digital gifts to process and 5-7 days for cash or checks to process and clear your account. If you do not see that your gift has gone through after two weeks, please contact us so that we can investigate the issue.
Yes, we mail giving statements twice a year in January and July. Statements are also available online through your Church Center account and can be accessed at any time.
