Faith Journey Spring 2018

At Resurrection, we believe each person’s spiritual journey is equally as important as their neighbor. We recognize that we all are in a different place on our journey and experiencing/learning different things. This is why we designed three different journeys for you. Journey One starts a bit slower and just scrapes the surface. Journey Two starts digging in a little bit. Journey Three is a complete dive into faith. Please read the class descriptions, prayerfully consider where you are at on your journey, then see our class dates and times available.

Journey One

This Spring, Journey One will be studying Francis Chan’s “Forgotten God.”
Today’s church admires the gift of the Holy Spirit, but have we neglected to open it? Chan tears away the wrapping paper and the ribbons to uncover the source of the believing community’s true power for witness and service. He issues a compelling invitation to understand, embrace, and follow the Spirit of the living God.

Available Classes:

Our two available classes are for seven weeks and are held in a Resurrection classroom. Nursery care is provided to those in need. Please click on the class to register.

Journey Two

This Spring, Journey Two will be studying Bill Hybels’ “Becoming a Contagious Christian.”
People matter to God. That foundation truth is why Bill Hybels planted a church where people can hear a clear, contemporary presentation of the gospel, relate to others who have decided to follow Jesus, and respond to the life-changing good news of the Gospel. In Becoming a Contagious Christian, you will discover why we are called to be Contagious Christians, how authenticity, compassion, and sacrifice help us to relate to seekers and how to clearly share the Gospel with those you love.

Available Classes:

Our three available classes are for six weeks. The first class is held offsite while the other two classes are held in a Resurrection classroom. Only our Tuesday night class offers nursery care. Please click on the class to register.

Journey Three

This Spring, Journey Three will be studying Kyle Idleman’s “Gods At War.”
There may be no wooden or golden idols in your home, such as the ancient Israelites struggled with, but chances are, there are significant idols in your heart. These idols can look like normal, everyday concerns about security, financial stability, desire for attention or affection, but can easily become the ugly reality of anxiety, greed, and seeking approval of man, rather than God.
In God’s at War, Kyle Idleman addresses the issues of idolatry in the lives of believers by asking insightful questions that will help you determine which false gods are striving to sit on the throne of your heart. By sharing true and powerful testimonies of those who have struggled with the idols of money, sex, success, food, and romance, Idleman clears away the cultural baggage of the 21st century to expose these gods for what they are – rivals to our unhindered devotion to Christ. Discover the freedom that awaits you when you allow the true God to reside unchallenged in your heart and life.

Available Classes:

One of our available classes is offsite with no nursery care and has four available spots open. Our second class has nursery care provided and will meet in a Resurrection classroom. This is a six week study. Please click on the class to register.
