Family Life Ministries

At Resurrection we believe that in order to be successful in helping our children develop a lasting relationship with Christ, faith has to be a central part of each family’s home life. We understand that if our children are not being encouraged in their faith at home, we will only experience limited success in what we hope to accomplish in the lives of our children. To have a lasting impact we believe in partnering with parents and families so that the home can become what God intends it to be – the primary place where faith is nurtured.

Every year we offer a number of workshops, special events and family camp for parents that are designed to help them succeed in raising healthy kids who love Jesus and want to walk in the ways of the Lord.

Faith Stepping Stones

Walking with families in faith at key moments which nurture the faith of the child and prepare him/her for a continuing life of faith.  We come together, name the stepping stone or milestone, learn together in faith, celebrate the event, and offer a prayer of blessing.  

Family Life Ministry Cross Training Workshops

At Resurrection we are committed to helping parents succeed in raising healthy students who love and honor God with their lives.  Let’s face it, being a parent isn’t easy, but it’s not easy being a middle school student either.  We all could use some encouragement and support as we face and go through the challenges that the adolescent years can bring.

These Family Life Ministry Workshops are required for our Cross Training students and each student should be accompanied by at least one parent.
