Birth to 4 years
Some might call it babysitting, but we think the Nursery at Resurrection is actually where we are ministering to and teaching our youngest members. We strive to offer a secure, nurturing, loving, clean and fun environment where your children can learn about God. Each Sunday during worship services our littlest worshippers in the nursery get their very own Sunday school class where they can sing, dance and even hug the Bible if they like! Surrounded by trained volunteers who care, it is our goal to have fun and extend the love of Christ to them while they are with us so that you can worship more fully.
A Safe Environment
- All volunteers are members of Resurrection.
- All volunteers have been through the “Creating Sanctuary” class.
- All volunteers have been subjected to a Minnesota State Background Check.
- All volunteers work in at least a team of two. Volunteers are never left alone with a child.
- The Nursery is filled with volunteers who love children and want to spend time with them.
- The equipment and toys in the Nursery are up to date. Equipment that has been recalled is actively removed from the Nursery.
- We can communicate with parents during worship services through the use of a vibrating pager.
Dropping off your child:
Please allow a few extra minutes the first time you bring your child to the Nursery so that you can fill out a one-time registration form. This form must be filled out by a parent or legal guardian.
- Come to the front desk of the Nursery and sign in your child. Fill out a nametag and place it on the child’s back if they do not already have one.
- Put the child’s belongings (diaper bag, jacket, etc) in a cubby and mark the cubby number on the sign-in sheet.
- Give hugs and drop off your child!
