Arika Himmelspach

I am Arika Himmelspach, the Nursery Director at Resurrection Lutheran Church.  I have been working in the nursery at RLC for the last 4 years. I recently stepped up from a Nursery Attendant position to the Nursery Director as of February 2011. I enjoy being around young children and getting the opportunity to watch the young chilren of our church begin their relationshp with God.

I serve in the nursery ministry because it give me the gratification of watching the children learn and grow excited in having a relationship with God. It satisfies me spiritually to be an adult at church that these children look up to and are excited to see each week.

When  I am not serving in the nursery ministry at church I enjoy any free time that I  can get. In the winter I like to go skiing, icefishing, go to the movies, or relax and read a good book. In the summer time I enjoy being out at the lake, camping, golfing, frisbee golfing, and going for walks with my dog Zippy.
