Dan Schlueter

Hi, my name is Dan Schlueter and I serve as The Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministry at Resurrection Lutheran Church.  I have been part of the full time staff at Resurrection since January of 2006.  And I absolutely love it!

I graduated from Bethel Collage in 1996 with two degrees, one in Youth Ministry and the other in Elementary Education.  Although there were plenty of teaching positions available, my love for Christ and my desire to impact teenagers with the Gospel really led me to pursue a full time position in youth work after graduation.

Since graduating college I have been in full time youth ministry.  It’s been 12 years and I can honestly say that I love it more today then I did when I first started, perhaps because my job continues to grow with me.  In the fall of 2010 my job description and responsibilities changed to include Children’s ministry.  Now, I have the added privilege and excitement of creating and managing ministries that are designed to nurture the faith of our littlest and youngest members.  What a blessing.

In addition to being in full time ministry, I am married to my wonderful wife Tracey.  Together, we have a son- Noah who we simply adore.  We don’t have any cats.  Don’t ask!
